Anyone who knows me and my kids knows that we are MSU fans. True fans. We watch every football game with such excitement and enthusiasm that we have practically been kicked out of friends homes and sports bars for being somewhat, obnoxious. We cheer and yell and pace and high five and yell at the refs. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a tough year for our Spartans. Yet when asked recently how I feel about the season, the following passage from Thomas Moore came to mind: “Fight on, my men,” Sir Andrew said, I’m a little hurt, but not yet slain; I’ll lay me down, and bleed awhile, And THEN I WILL RISE AND FIGHT AGAIN.”
